CDPR releases a Cyberpunk 2077 workaround for a game-breaking bug along with official modding tools

Cyberpunk 2077 has just got its first patch version 1.1 to fix the game bugs on all the platforms. But, the update ended up adding more bugs for some players. This bug prevents players from progressing any further in the game and was spotted in the Down on the Street quest. CD Projekt Red has also released official modding tools for the game.

After the patch version 1.1, some players experienced bugs on the Down on the Street quest. The bug involved the protagonist V having a conversation with Takemura. Players are unable to progress further because the bug prevents the scene from loading. The developers, on their official support page, shared a workaround for the bug.

Load a gamesave before Takemura and V leave Wakako’s office.
Finish the conversation with Takemura outside the office right away
Right after conversation, when the quest has been updated, skip ahead by 23hrs.
See if the holocall triggers and the dialogue with Takemura starts
